Hospital Medicine 2012 a Success For Hospital Physician Partners

Posted April 11, 2012

April 11, 2012, Hollywood, Fl. – More than 275 attendees visited the Hospital Physician Partners “HPP Cafe-Booth 201” during this years Hospital Medicine 2012 conference held annualy by the Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM). The number represents an increase of more than 125% over last years booth traffic. SHM is a professional medical society representing more than 10,000 of the 30,000 practicing hospitalists in the United States. This years conference was held April 1-4 in San Diego, California and garnered more than 2500 non-vendor attendees. The conference attracts Hospitalist Medicine practitioners from across the globe who attend for continuing medical education, career development, networking, and to locate new opportunities for Hospitalist jobs.

Al Emerick, Vice President of Marketing and Communications for HPP, contributes the success to a combination of location, a great recruiting team, booth theme, and persistence. “We had a great booth space for sure. However, ultimately, our goal was to provide an inviting, friendly, and approachable feel and I think accomplishing that made the difference,” says Emerick. He went on to add that the event flow established by SHM was a vast improvement over past years noting that the shortening of the exhibition hours and proximity between the exhibit floor and conference classes was optimal. “At the end of the day, we are providing Hospitalist jobs for physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants across the country and SHM’s annual conference provides a great resource for our marketing and recruting efforts,” said Emerick.

Hospital Physician Partners (HPP) manages Hospitalist Medicine and Emergency Medicine across the country. HPP works with over 75 hospitals in more than 20 states treating approximately 2,000,000 patients annually. Its Emergency Medicine and Hospitalist Medicine team consists of more than 1,500 physicians and NP/PA providers. For more information, email
