Grandview is an Osteopathic Teaching facility. This 29 bed ED sees approximately 27,000 patients per year. Physicians work twelve hour shifts from 7-7 with acute PA coverage 10 hours per day. Additional assistance provided by EM, FP and IM residents. Nurse Practitioners cover the Fast Track 10 hours daily.
Grandview is a sister hospital with Southview. Both Grandview and Southview are part of the Kettering Health Network and are Dayton’s only osteopathic hospitals. These two facilities create the largest base of primary care physicians in the region and provide comprehensive medical services, including emergency care.
Dayton, located on the Miami River, is full of history and is best know as the home of inventors Wilbur and Orville Wright. Today the city offers great attractions and historical sites, fantastic art venues, a thriving downtown area, several parks, a variety of sporting events, shopping and dining.
