Local Clinical Leadership & Practice Management

Hospital Physician Partners manages the efficiency and effectiveness of your emergency department, develops strategic objectives and focuses on the management and execution of critical operations criteria. We staff an on-site local Medical Director who works clinical shifts, attends all medical staff meetings and facilitates communication between Hospital Physician Partners, the physicians and the hospital. Additionally, our corporate Clinical Operations team, including Chief Medical Officer Dr. David Schillinger, works regular clinical shifts in our clients facilities.

Physician Recruiting

Hospital Physician Partners recruits and identifies prospective candidates through strategically planned marketing efforts. Recruitment opportunities are assessed based on the type of position, location and recruitment history. There are no “simple shotgun approaches.” Each opening has its own distinct plan and is treated as a separate campaign. Efforts include national, regional and local journal advertising, direct marketing, internet advertising, job-boards, cold-calling, networking and new-media communication such as Facebook, Twitter and Linked-In.

Scheduling

We offer 24/7 live scheduling support. Hospital Physician Partners’ web-based “Staffing Angel” system allows all providers to review and schedule shifts.

Billing and Coding

Hospital Physician Partners provides comprehensive management of all coding, billing and collection of the physician services component of emergency department and hospitalist patient bills through its two affiliated billing companies.

They help hospitals drive profitability through the effective management of their emergency department billing and accounts receivable process. In addition to these patient billing services, they offer extensive web-based and on-site documentation training for Hospital Physician partner providers.

Risk Management and Quality Assurance

We provide early intervention risk management activities designed to prevent or minimize professional liability claims; malpractice insurance provided for contracted physicians. Hospital Physician Partners’ extensive clinical education and training combined with our hands-on approach and departmental communication processes has led to a rate of frequency of malpractice incidents substantially below national averages.

Marketing
